Twenty-two years ago in 1989 a new club opened in Ayr to fill a gap in the market. The opposition had a crazy fool rule "No Jeans No Trainers No Problem". These customers promptly escaped from the minimum security club to downtown Arthur Street. Today, still wanted by Club de Mar we survive as "Freedom to Dress" pioneers.
